Ending Sexual Assault St. Louis

One of the webmistresses of this tumblr tipped me off to it at a party a few weeks ago. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and over at SEX+STL, this is when we’ve begun to gear up for SlutWalk. Didn’t make it to the SlutWalk summit? Like us on Facebook to stay updated and offer input.
At Ending Sexual Assault St. Louis you can see what people all over St. Louis have learned about sex and relationships — and how they’re wearing what’s in their hearts on their sleeves . . . and underpants!

This project embodies a sex positive approach to fighting sexual violence. It encourages us to find our wisdom about sex and relationships and use that to create healthy relationships with each other. Ending Sexual Assault St. Louis says it best:

With knowledge about our bodies, the ability to express our desires, and respect for the sexuality of ourselves and of others, we can help create a world without rape.

Yes, yes, so very YES!

You can be involved too, but you have to hurry – the deadline is April 27th. Learn more here.

Even if you can’t decorate an item of clothing — come out and celebrate the collective wisdom of St. Louisans  at Cafe Ventana  on April 27th, from 5-7.  There’ll be plenty of coffee, wine and beignets, plus a chance to check out everyone’s creations.
