Walking into the Hustler Hollywood on Natural Bridge Rd.is like walking into a less-pink version of Victoria’s Secret — with sex toys.

What’s impressed me lately, though, isn’t just the impressive sex toy selection (plenty for men and women!) or their ‘wall ‘o lube,’ but the lingerie.
Larry Flynt’s boutique boasts a wide variety of styles in women’s lingerie (which of course anyone is welcome to try on) — from the lacey-sheer to the leather-ish. The store also has what is, arguably, the best collection of plus-sized lingerie in the St. Louis area. While their 1x-3x options aren’t as expansive as the options in the S-L size range, there are more than 20 plus-sized styles available – and this doesn’t include body stockings and similar items.
The men’s section is less varied, but everytime I drop by the store, there’s more for men. Quite new is the Pipedream line of fetish briefs/shorts/thongs for men.
Because it’s gift-giving (and requesting) season, and because we’re all trying to figure out what to wear to Fleshtivus, SEX+STL will be hosting an evening at Hustler Hollywood for perusing their lingerie section, trying things on, modeling, taking pictures, and shopping! Michelle, the lingerie manager is looking forward to giving fitting help and advice, as well as getting feedback on improving the selection. She’s been giving special attention to the mens and plus-size sections lately — and she’s eager to do more.
No need to RSVP, but it’s helpful, as there will be light snacks. All those interested in trying on lingerie in a fun, body-positive environment are welcome!
