Last year’s World Naked Bike Ride: St. Louis was a bit of a revelation to me. There simply is no experience comparable to riding through the streets of your city with hundreds of other cyclists wearing costumes, underwear, or nothing. Tonight is World Naked Bike Ride 2011, so in order to stir up some excitement, I thought I’d share some photos I took last year. (Also, make sure you check out Wraith’s interview with Stephanie Co, the organizer of St. Louis’s WNBR!)
While a couple of these are from before and after, the ones taken during the ride were taken by a camera that I mounted onto the handlebars of my bike (hence the preponderance of asses on bikes you’ll see.)
Seriously, if you’re wondering whether or not you should come: bring your bike, a bottle of water, and whatever attire you wish. I promise you’ll have a great time.
