How much would you pay to see an internationally known sex educator? How far would you travel? What if I told you that you don’t have to leave St. Louis? In support of their new book, “Playing Well With Others,” Lee Harrington and Mollena Williams will be making two appearances in St. Louis on their whistle-stop book tour. Friday, November 2nd at 8pm, they will be the guests of honor at a Masquerade/Fetish Ball hosted by STL3 (the folks who bring you Beat Me in St. Louis and Spanksgiving). The following Saturday, November 3rd at 11am, they will be offering a book signing and workshop at Shameless Grounds.
Lee Harrington is the author of “Sacred Kink: The Eight Fold Paths of BDSM and Beyond” and “Shibari You Can Use,” among other titles. He is one of the hosts of the Erotic Awakening podcast. Mollena Williams is the author of “The Toybag Guide to Taboo Play” and writes The Perverted Negress column for Sexis Magazine. If there is an important kink, fetish, or sexuality conference in the English speaking world, there’s a pretty good chance that one or both of them have presented there.
St. Louis, you have not one, but two chances to see Mollena Williams and Lee Harrington, together, in your own back yard. This is the BDSM equivalent to seeing Nirvana and Sonic Youth sharing the stage at Mississippi Nights, circa 1991. If you can’t make at least one of these events, you’re simply not trying hard enough.
