You Are Getting Horny: An Interview with Eric Kendall, Sex Hypnotist

I heard there was a sex hypnosis show at Shameless Grounds a while back, and was totally bummed I missed it!

So I tracked down the hypnotist and asked him a bunch of questions. Eric Kendall offers “HypnoGasms” – you can check out his website (currently under construction)

Q: Is it fair to say you change sex lives via hypnosis?

A: Yes.  Just ask Robin.  😉  (Ed Note: We do. Tune in Wed for her story!) Hypnosis and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques are very powerful toolsets we can all use to dramatically change our lives for the better.

Q: What sort of feats have you pulled off?

A: HypnoGasms is still very new, even though I’ve been researching the topic for several months now.  The show at Shameless Grounds was basically a market test to see if people would want access to this type of thing.  Considering the place was packed, I have a waiting list for the new products, and so many people are talking about the show with such intrigue, I think it’s a success.  🙂

Obviously, for Robin, I unlocked her ability to have female ejaculations. For others I’ve had in shows or in private sessions, I don’t always get to hear back from them, which is unfortunate.

Trisha (Ed Note: her story will be featured on Friday!) and her husband, Bruce, enjoyed my first private session which worked incredibly well.  I left her with the post-hypnotic suggestion that all Bruce had to do for the rest of that weekend was rub her shoulder and she would orgasm.  They played for hours the next day.  He enjoyed the feeling of potency for her and she enjoyed hours of orgasms without any parts getting sore or drying up.

The sky is the limit as to how I can improve the sex lives of those who want the help.  I’ve been collecting names of people who want to know the second my products start coming out so they can spice up their stale marriages.

Q: Is what you do safe and ethical?

A: Yes.  It is very safe.  Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind that each of us experiences on our own several times a day.  In spite of how hypnosis is portrayed in the movies and on TV, real hypnotic subjects are always in control.

Also, I am very highly trained and safety certified.  I know how to make absolutely sure no one is hurt physically by falling off their chair or hurt emotionally by doing things under hypnosis that they would regret later.  When I have you under hypnosis, you are under my care, and that is a responsibility I take very seriously.

Ethics, as you know, is a relative term. The best way to answer this is to reiterate what I said about safety and also to say that I cannot force anyone to do anything against their will.  Every participant has control.  Hypnosis is not something I would do TO you.  It is something we do together in sort of a connected partnership.  I want nothing but the best experience for my participants.

Whether in a show, home party or private session, everything I do is completely legal. For shows in public venues, there is no nudity.  There is never any inappropriate touching.  If I touch a participant, it is on their head, arms, hands or shoulders only. Participants don’t feel the need to touch themselves in a “lewd” manner. They are experiencing everything in their minds even though the orgasms and other sensations they feel are very real and physical. “R” rated movies are a lot more blatant than what I do.

Q: How did you get into hypnosis, and then how did it lead you to sex hypnosis?

A: How I got into hypnosis could be a whole interview in and of itself.  I first started learning hypnosis when I was around 21. I was at an art of magic conference and there was a hypnotist there. A few of us stayed and talked with him for hours after the meeting was over. He hypnotized me and I was hooked.

I’m never really sure how my ideas come to me. I originally just wanted to create an amazing experience for my lady.  My research led me to a hypnotist in Canada who does sex hypnosis stage shows, and HypnoGasms was born.

Since then, I’ve been researching the hypnotherapy side of sexual fulfillment. I’m on a life-long medication that inhibits ejaculation.  Through self-hypnosis, I’m able to increase my sensitivity to make up for it.  I usually don’t because I want to make sure she cums a couple of times before I do.  😉

This is how I envision a hypnotist show, replete with tuxedo and angels

Q: Do you work with people therapeutically or is your talent for entertainment purposes only?

A: Having been a professional entertainer for more than 20 years, my first love has always been to entertain. However, people come to me for help all the time, and I’ve found that I have a natural talent for using both hypnosis and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to change people’s lives. I don’t have an office where I see people. I help them wherever we happen to be. Along with my product line in the works, I have a series of seminars and small group retreats I am working on – including one to enhance sexual well-being. I love helping people improve their lives.

Q: I know you worked with all women at the Shameless Grounds show, but do you ever work with men?

A: Men are very welcome to participate. I have one male customer who wants me to guide him toward the difficult-to-achieve-otherwise non-ejaculating male orgasm. That will have to wait until I am back in his city. The only problem straight men may have is that they are being guided by a male voice. For some, it’s a non-issue, but for many others, it’s a dealbreaker.

I read your blog discussion of why men immediately RSVP by the dozens for clothing optional events whereas women are more reserved, etc.. Ironically, for HypnoGasms, it seems to be a foregone conclusion that women will be my volunteers. Part of that is probably because women can keep going and going during physical play and men are used to popping and that’s it until they reset.

It’s also more difficult for me to hypnotically stimulate men and women at the same time, because we have different triggers, fantasies and sensations. For instance, men may not like the hallucination of someone sliding inside of them.

Q: Can you make a man ejaculate via hypnosis without manual stimulation?

A: Yes. When teenage boys wake up sticking to their sheets, it’s not because they stroke themselves in their sleep. Wet dreams are purely a mind / body connection that do not require physical stimulation. Hypnosis activates parts of the brain in the same way that hormones do. Teenagers have the hormonal fuel to trigger their dreams and the reactions they get, but hypnosis can do the same thing.

It may take an adult man a few hypnotic sessions to get to that point though. Hypnosis relies on the mindset of the subject pretty heavily. I would start simple and build his experience over time rather than fight his natural skepticism right off the bat. Each person responds differently though. The measure of how good a hypnotist is is in how well they can sense where their subject is in their experience. That’s why 30 day wonder book trained “hypnotists” never last. They think they can memorize a script and make it work for everybody.

Q: Can you help men with retarded/inhibited ejaculation?

A: Yes. The question is why they have those symptoms.  Sexual health is just another example of how the mind controls everything the body experiences. If the man’s issue stems from guilt, lack of confidence, underlying resentments between partners, or other psychological issues, we can find those and clear them away. He’d be a new man.

If the man in question is on medication or there’s another physical “limitation” that inhibits their abilities, we can still dramatically improve their situation, but it may not be just like the good old days. What’s ironic about that, though, is we often let doctors hypnotize us by the rite of their perceived authority into believing certain side-effects or common symptoms of a condition will automatically apply to us. In my case of being on meds, if I start thinking “she’s gonna feel bad if I don’t pop”, guess what?  I’ve hypnotized myself that I probably won’t pop. However, if I focus on a positive mindset, boom. Same meds. Same partner. Dramatically different result due to where my thinking is at the time.

Q: I’ve been trying to be comfortable with anal for years, can you help me get over my fear?

A: In less than 15 minutes. Seriously, l can confidently zap a life-long debilitating fear in less than 15 minutes.

Q: Where and when is your next show?

A: Good question. I need to arrange that!

Q: Anything else you would like to include in the interview?

A: It is important to clearly state that I am not a medical professional.  The viewpoints I have expressed in this article are based on my training and experience as a hypnotist and motivational speaker only.

  1. Years ago,(25+)I was hypnotized to enable myself to quit smoking…I have never felt compelled to light a smoke since…I believe hypnosis works as long as you’re a receptive participant.
